1970 ½ -1981

After a late start in production the second-gen Camaro out sold the first-gen cars two to one. With today’s first-gen prices skyrocketing fast. The second generation Camaros are becoming more and more popular every day. With that popularity, it is getting harder to find reliable information for these cars. This Book is the answer for all your questions.
Chapters include a second-gen identification guide along with interior, body, chassis, suspension guides and much more. The Photography is great, pictures highlighting many of the special options available during the second-Gen run. There are also four Appendix’s in the back covering VIN Codes, Engine Codes, Trim Codes and Popular Model and Option Prices.
Of all the Camaro’s built through the years, the second generation is my personal favorite. “The Definitive Camaro Guide 1970 ½ - 1981 is the most informative book I’ve found for anyone such as myself who loves these cars. It is well worth the price of admission.

Best Camaro presentation

Great book. Even though I'm more of a Ford fan, I really liked this book and the way it presented all the facts about Camaros. I especially liked the excellent quality photos. My favorites were the photos of the vintage 1970's Camaros. Growing up, a good friend of mine ad a '71 and this book brought back memories.

Good modeling book for corporate finance.

The book is a step by step guide to creating models. If you want to go from 0 to 60 or beyond, this book can take you there and you wont hit any speed bumps. I recommend reading it in a linear fashion, and therefore you should create the models as you read. That is how the book should be read.

Kindle software modifies the ebook version of this book and does not format it correctly. Therefore, if you are interested in the ebook version, I would try a non-kindle version and import that version to a kindle. If you by the kindle version you will find that you can't enlarge the graphs and pictures, which you need to view in order to complete the models. This is a problem with Kindle ebook version and not the book.

Dr. Robert M. Sherfield is currently a Professor in the School of Arts and Letters at The College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a nationally recognized educator, writer, and speaker having spent the past 27 years working with faculty development, first year student success programs, student motivation, and retention.

An award-winning educator, Robb was named Educator of the Year at the College of Southern Nevada. He twice received the Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award from The University of South Carolina at Union and has received numerous other awards and nominations for classroom instruction and advisement.

Bought this set for my 7 and 9 year old boys who love to read. Spy School was their book club book of the month and it was only $2 more to get the set of 3. They both LOVED all three books and want more in the series. Definitely recommend. Seems to appeal to a variety of ages and both boys and girls.

The author chose to write the application in ‘plain old C’ because he wanted to make the code accessible to as many people as possible.

Writing the Solver application was more difficult than writing the Generator, because it required designing and implementing each strategy separately. However, the author wanted to include a solving program capable of listing the strategies necessary to solve any particular puzzle. This book includes the full listings of both the Generator and the Solver, and explanations of all C modules, with walk-throughs and examples.

About the Author
Giulio Zambon s first love was physics, but he decided to dedicate himself to software development more than 30 years ago: back when computers were still made of transistors and core memories, programs were punched on cards, and Fortran only had arithmetic IFs. Over the years, he learned a dozen computer languages and worked with all sorts of operating systems. His specific interests were in telecom and real-time systems, and he managed several projects to their successful completion. In 2001 Giulio founded his own company offering computer telephony integration (CTI) services, and he used JSP and Tomcat exclusively to develop the web side of the service platform. Back in Australia after many years in Europe, he now dedicates himself to writing software to generate and solve numeric puzzles. His web site, http://zambon.com.au/, is written in JSP on his dedicated server, which, unsurprisingly, runs Tomcat!

he comes to truly like and respect the characters in the novel

currently reading this novel and loving it - very moving, a difficult read (not challenging in terms of scholarly rhetoric or writing, but content). You get really invested in the characters, and Bourgois gets close and personal with these dealers and truly dissects the complexities, heart, and danger within the drug ring. I appreciate Bourgeois' awareness of his whiteness in East Harlem, and overall privilege; using this to his advantage, he comes to truly like and respect the characters in the novel. all in all an engaging, ethnographic narrative and research study with much thought and dedication put into it.

In the spirit of Bourgois, let me introduce myself. I'm a suburban white woman with a background in history. I was assigned to read this book for an "Aspects of Deviance" Sociology class. Bourgois' approach to his research makes a lot of sense to me since I was taught (as a would-be historian) to take into account all backgrounds and prejudices of the author, the reader, and the characters (if applicable). Perhaps something that makes the read so easy is that the author so willingly points out his own thoughts and biases. This is not to say that our job as readers becomes only to sit back and enjoy the story, but it makes it easier to filter through the author's analyses in order to modify the conclusion for yourself. Importantly, he liberally uses transcriptions of actual dialogues with the East Harlem crack dealers whom he befriends over three-plus years. Having that kind of access to the source of his research is invaluable in judging the situation for yourself.
As for the content, I can think of no better way for me to get a glimpse into that kind of life and neighborhood. One of the only other books that comes close is an autobiography by Nathan McCall called Makes Me Wanna Holler. This book covers his experience going from a gang member in the 1970's to "goin' legit" as a journalist and often revisiting the demons of his past.
Because the author discusses the idea of objectivity and various definitions of it, I want to mention one movie for anyone interested in better understanding how biases affect otherwise factual accounts. Courage Under Fire is a good example of understanding how various views, motives, and biases color different people's accounts. As much as we would like it, we can never practically obtain the kind of completely unbiased, third-person view of a situation as we are given at the end of the movie, but, with practice, you can come close. This is not to say that you should be completely detached from what you read or see, but that you don't have to get bogged down in the views of others.

So compelling. So inspiring. So poignant. I'm so glad I read this book! How beautifully Bourgois is able to convey the issues of poor, inner-city members who give into temptation in order to do what they feel necessary for sufficient income and for basic human dignity. Few books have been able to articulate these arguments with such grace. Highly recommended to those who wish to better understand their brothers and sisters with whom it can otherwise be a challenge to relate!
